Recipients must attend the ceremony to personally accept their name engraved, “golden woman” trophy accolade.

Genesis, A Very Long Time: Founder and global group editor, Shanta Kumari has keen appreciation of the issues related to “gender… diversity…” ever since she started her career at Drexel Burnham. Having lived through the crisis at Drexel and Kidder Peabody, she went on to become deputy editor of a global asset management publication, followed by starting a “woman-led” global consulting firm and was the only woman among a group of 4 member-team involved in construction of “i-Shares” ETF fund at Barclays. Likewise, her idea to create an award that meaningfully validates excellence and hard-work is at the center of the “Women Dealmakers” honors… and a very, very long-time in making!
