Martín leads the FERRERE Corporate and Commercial and Mergers and Acquisitions groups. His experience and professional practice also cover agribusiness, infrastructure, mining, business companies and telecommunications. For over twenty years with FERRERE, he has advised international corporations such as Abbott, BellSouth, British American Tobacco, Cummins, Dufry, ExxonMobil, Starbucks, Vale, Volt, Weyerhaeuser, and Yamaha in Uruguay.


S. Todd Crider

Todd concentrates primarily on transactions in Latin America and Spain and speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French. He advises clients in international corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and project finance. Todd is admitted to practice law in New York and authorized as a foreign legal consultant by the São Paulo Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – São Paulo).


Amir Achcar Bocayuva Cunha

Amir has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and creation of legal structures for foreign investments in Brazil, as well as in negotiation of contracts and corporate disputes. He represents entrepreneurs, medium-sized companies, private equity funds and publicly held companies, operating in different sectors of the economy.


Douglas A. Doetsch

Doug is a member of the firm's Banking & Finance practice and his transactional work involves asset and stock acquisitions, real estate investments, and cross-border joint ventures. He advises clients on infrastructure financings in the port, airport and road sectors, acquisition and other leveraged lending transactions, and structured credit transactions. He is also a leader in cross-border securitization transactions, especially future cash flow securitizations. In his cross-border work, Doug also regularly advises on emerging market debt restructuring and debt exchange offers. In addition, his transactional work involves asset and stock acquisitions, real estate investments, and cross-border joint ventures.

Jean Michel Enríquez

Jean Michel advises multinationals, private equity investors and sponsors on acquisitions and investments in Mexico across multiple industries. Notably, he advised Grupo Modelo in its acquisition by ABI-InBev, which to date remains the largest ever M&A transaction in Mexico. He also advises underwriters and issuers in multiple domestic and global equity offerings.


Manuel Garciadiaz

Manuel has worked on many of the most significant cross-border M&A, capital markets, project finance, and debt restructurings transactions in Latin America. In M&A, he advises both acquirers and target companies. His notable clients have included Banco Credito del Peru, Cosan, Natura, Patria, Santander, Vinci Partners and XP.


Maurizio Levi-Minzi

Maurizio is an M&A lawyer with 30+ years of experience advising clients in complex joint ventures and cross-border acquisitions of a broad variety of assets in sectors such as energy, asset management infrastructure and consumer products. He has led transactions in Latin America, the United States, Europe and Asia for private equity groups and strategic investors.


Carlos E. Lombardi

Carlos’ expertise includes banking, corporate finance and capital markets transactions. Throughout the past two decades, he has worked in several banking and corporate transactions with most of the leading banks in Argentina as well, participated in a number of M&A transactions.


Luiz Octavio Lopes

Luiz has extensive transactional experience having served as leading counsel in a large number of corporate and capital markets transactions in Brazil and abroad. Before joining Lefosse, Luiz was a managing director at the investment banking group at Banco Credit Suisse where he was head of M&A in Brazil.


Paola Lozano

Paola M&A practice focuses on cross-border transactions throughout the Americas and globally, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital transactions.
