Guy Berman

Guy focuses on corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. He regularly helps clients in executing their transactional and investment work, including management and leveraged buyouts, majority and minority equity investments, divestitures, joint ventures, co-investments, shareholders arrangements, and fund and transaction structuring. Guy also advises Canadian pension funds and financial institutions on complex and cross-border matters.


Joel E. Binder

Joel has over 30 years’ experience in public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance, and other complex corporate transactions. He represents public issuers, boards of directors, special committees, and investment dealers in connection with take-over bids, business combinations, public offerings, private placements, and governance and securities compliance matters. Joel also advises private equity and strategic buyers and sellers, and large family-owned businesses.


Adam M. Givertz

Adam advises corporate clients, private equity sponsors and pension funds in connection with public M&A as well as private acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures across variety of industries. He also advises boards of directors and special committees in connection with strategic review processes and engagements with activist investors.


William (Bill) K. Jenkins

Bill also co-leads Dentons’ Banking and Financial Services group in Calgary. He is an extremely experienced corporate transactional lawyer, advising on complex mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, project financings and joint ventures. He participated in the formation of Dentons, serving as the first Global Vice Chair of Dentons from Canada from 2012 until the end of 2015.


Jeffrey Kerbel

Jeff focuses on mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, corporate governance and securities regulatory matters. He is a past Chair of the International M&A Joint Venture Committee of the Section of International Law of the American Bar Association.


Neil Kravitz

Vincent A. Mercier

Tom is an exceptionally experienced attorney who concentrates his practice on U.S. cross-border securities and corporate law matters. With a particular focus on U.S.-Canada activity, every year he and his team advise clients with respect to financing transactions totaling billions of dollars. He represents U.S. and foreign issuers and investment banks in a broad range of public and private financings, including financings under the U.S.-Canada Multijurisdictional Disclosure System, cross-border public offerings, and U.S.-foreign private placements.
