Daniel Calhman de Miranda

Daniel is experienced in cross-border transactions of all kinds and has a powerful reputation for complex M&A transactional matters and related disputes. He has been involved in major M&A deals for AIMCo, Blackstone, CPPIB, Totvs, Gol Linhas Aéreas, Titan Cement, etc., in the last few years.


Plinio Pinheiro Guimarães Neto

Plinio focuses on variety of transactions including securities repurchase transactions, foreign investments structure, divestments, transactions involving asset sales and debt assumptions, and investments in overleveraged or distressed Brazilian companies. He is also actively involved in M&A transactions, transfers of control, as well as private equity investments.


Antonio has broad experience in the U.S., Latin America, and Spain, representing strategic investors and private equity funds in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, SPAC deals, and other corporate matters. He has four law degrees from the United States, Mexico and Spain and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Prior to joining GT, he served as in-house counsel at one of the largest Mexican financial institutions, Banamex, and later served as acting General Counsel for a joint venture between two Fortune 500 companies operating in thirteen jurisdictions in Latin America.


Nicolás Piaggio

Nicolás mainly works in the Banking and Corporate Department. His experience includes engagement in financing transactions, debt restructurings, sovereign debt transactions (including a direct participation in the last two Uruguayan successful multibillion sovereign debt exchange), public and private securities’ offer, as well as mergers and acquisitions.


Antonio Del Pino

Antonio advises companies, private equity firms, and financial institutions on cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, financings, and restructurings involving Latin America and the United States. He brings more than two decades of experience navigating complex transactions on behalf of sophisticated clients doing business in Latin America.


Hernán has participated in a broad range of cross-border transactions including M&A, private equity, venture capital, capital markets and financing transactions with a strong focus in the technology industry. He joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in July 1997 and became a partner in 2005.

Rodrigo Dominguez Sotomayor

Rodrigo has over 20 years of experience representing clients in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and corporate matters in regulated and non-regulated industries throughout the United States and Latin America. He is licensed to practice in Mexico, New York, and Texas.


Alfonso Ugarte

Alfonso advises on multijurisdictional M&A in numerous sectors, including banking, infrastructures, mining, retail and technology. He also advises creditors and debtors on structured financing transactions, bankruptcy restructuring and reorganization, and on distressed financing.
