David Savard

David is responsible for leading the firm’s global Mergers and Acquisition practice and Private Capital Advisory business, which includes oversight of financial sponsor coverage and minority capital raise business. Throughout his career, David has been focused on M&A & restructuring advisory having led the execution of a large number of mandates in the Canada, the US and internationally. Prior to joining NBF in 2015, David spent 13 years at Rothschild. David received the “M&A Investment Banker” award at the M&A Atlas Awards (2021).


James Sinclair

James leads Lincoln’s overall strategic and operational efforts in Brazil and manages the firm’s São Paulo office. He spearheads origination efforts and management of clients and institutional relationships in the region, leads deal teams and heads the office`s recruiting efforts. James has more than 35 years of experience originating, structuring and executing financing and buy-side, sell-side advisory as well as restructuring mandates.


John V. Soden

John focuses on Medical Technologies, including medical devices and device-related independent service organizations, life science tools/reagents, diagnostic products and lab services. He has 27 years of investment banking experience, primarily focused on private and public company M&A. Before joining Cain Brothers in 2016, he was a Managing Director & Head of Medical Technologies at Houlihan Lokey.


Jason has over 23 years of experience providing strategic advice for public and private companies as they contemplate change of control situations. He has advised and executed on broad range of transactions, including strategic buy sides, take-privates, hostile transactions and defense, sponsor-back broad and targeted auction processes, recapitalizations and carve outs. Jason joined in July 2010 in connection with Stifel's acquisition of Thomas Weisel Partners, where he was in the Tech M&A group for over a decade.


Kendall is accountable for our client experiences, brand recognition, team development, and deal production. She is also a member of our Major Transaction Team and works closely with our teams that focus on transactions with $100M+ in transaction value. She has led some of the largest and most complicated deals within the industry. Kendall’s day-to-day responsibilities also includes careful oversight of our Southwest territory. She received the prestigious USA Top Woman Dealmaker Award (2022) by Global M&A Network.


Jeffrey Unger

Jeff has spent the last 30 years as a serial entrepreneur and C-level executive across several markets. He is an accomplished Senior Executive, M&A advisor, and Restructuring specialist with significant international and cross border experience. He launched G2 Capital Advisors in 2010 with a vision to introduce a new platform comprised of a sector focused, multi-disciplinary, financial advisory services to the marketplace.


José Ignacio Valdez

José brings over 17 years of experience in Investment Banking and Business Development and a successful track-record in M&A transaction origination and execution for Latin American and North American clients to this critical role at Scotiabank. He joined Scotiabank in 2013 as a Director on Peru's Investment Banking team. Prior to joining Scotiabank, José worked with the M&A team at another financial institution based in Toronto.


Sarfraz Visram

Sarfraz has over twenty years of experience advising clients on a wide array of M&A assignments, including purchase and sale mandates, hostile takeover defense, activism defense, strategic investments, joint ventures, fairness opinions and independent valuation mandates. He has advised on many award-winning metals and mining related transactions.


Loli Wu

Loli is responsible for the firm's investment banking business in the airline, railroad, shipping, trucking & logistics, and transportation infrastructure sectors. He and the team have advised on many significant transactions over his 24 plus year career, including M&A Atlas Awards winning deals such as Genesee & Wyoming’s acquisition of Railamerica, Kansas City Southern sale to Canadian Pacific Railway. He joined Bank of America in 2009 from Citigroup.


Tom founded EdgePoint Capital, a boutique investment bank based in Cleveland. Since EdgePoint’s founding in 2000, EdgePoint has completed more than 275 domestic and international middle market transactions. Tom has over 25 years of transactional experience with family businesses. He is a frequent speaker on family business transition matters. He has received many national awards including: 2018 Boutique Investment Banker of the Year, 2022 Boutique Investment Bank of the Year, Smart 50 Leadership Award, and Crains – 500. Most Influential Leaders in Cleveland. Tom is an active civic leader and participates on several prominent boards.
