Michael Klym

Michael with over twenty years of industry experience, advises on mergers, acquisitions, capital raise and related transactional matters. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 2009, he was a Vice President at RBC Capital Markets. He began his career as an attorney at Bennett Jones, LLP.


Trond Lossius

Trond is a veteran dealmaker with over twenty years of industry experience. He advises on mergers, acquisitions, capital raise and related transactional matters. He joined Barclays Capital in 2007 from BMO Capital Markets.


Ben Mandell

Ben has been in the M&A group at RBC for the last 10 years with prior experience working at an independent financial advisory firm in Toronto, in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs both in New York and Toronto, as well as working as a Consultant with Monitor Group in London.


Jamie has almost 25 years of experience advising on M&A transactions across all facets, structures and types. These include US, European and Australian cross border transactions, friendly and hostile public take-over transactions, private acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs and spin-offs. Jamie has completed more than 90 advisory assignments totaling more than $120 billion, including healthcare, technology, media, consumer, industrial, agricultural, retail and financial services.


William E. Quinn

Bill a veteran dealmaker, has advised on a variety of transactions including complex mergers, acquisitions, capital raise as well as equity and debt related matters. Most recently, he advised Inter Pipeline in its takeover by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners.


David Savard

David is responsible for leading the firm’s global Mergers and Acquisition practice and Private Capital Advisory business, which includes oversight of financial sponsor coverage and minority capital raise business. Throughout his career, David has been focused on M&A & restructuring advisory having led the execution of a large number of mandates in the Canada, the US and internationally. Prior to joining NBF in 2015, David spent 13 years at Rothschild. David received the “M&A Investment Banker” award at the M&A Atlas Awards (2021).


Sarfraz Visram

Sarfraz has over twenty years of experience advising clients on a wide array of M&A assignments, including purchase and sale mandates, hostile takeover defense, activism defense, strategic investments, joint ventures, fairness opinions and independent valuation mandates. He has advised on many award-winning metals and mining related transactions.
