Trond Lossius

Trond is a veteran dealmaker with over twenty years of industry experience. He advises on mergers, acquisitions, capital raise and related transactional matters. He joined Barclays Capital in 2007 from BMO Capital Markets.


Ben Mandell

Ben has been in the M&A group at RBC for the last 10 years with prior experience working at an independent financial advisory firm in Toronto, in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs both in New York and Toronto, as well as working as a Consultant with Monitor Group in London.


John originates, executes, and manages private equity and debt placements, mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions and general financial advisory engagements. Prior to founding Hyde Park in January 2000, he was a Managing Director of the Investment Banking Healthcare Technology/Life Sciences Group at Raymond James & Associates where he worked as an investment banker in their corporate finance group for over 11 years.


Al founded MelCap Partners in 2000 and is responsible for managing all aspects of client engagements from proposal through closing, developing business, reviewing offering memorandums and financial models, negotiating purchase agreements, and interacting with buyers and investors.


Rodrigo Mello

Rodrigo previously served as the Country Head for Brazil at Greenhill & Co, which he joined in February 2014. Before joining Greenhill, Rodrigo worked for 13 years at Goldman Sachs and was the Managing Director responsible for the financial institutions, consumer and retail sectors. He started his career at Banco Santander in 1997.


Michael is an award-winning media and tech investment banker with over 25 years of experience advising on M&A, financing transactions, and serving the Internet and tech companies in operating and corporate development roles. Before joining Drake Star in 2018, Michael was a senior investment banker at Houlihan Lokey’s TMT group, a principal at merchant bank MESA Global, and a Co-Founder and Principal of Internet and digital media-focused investment bank Covert & Co.


Thomas M. Miles

Tom’s experience includes numerous mergers, acquisition, divestiture, corporate sale and takeover defense assignments across a broad range of industries for clients in all regions. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2010, he had spent 16 years in JP Morgan’s Mergers & Acquisitions Department.


Ron has over 34 years of transaction experience and is responsible for leading the middle market M&A investment banking group as well as actively managing transactions, business development, and private equity coverage. He has completed 140 merger and acquisition and public and private financing assignments which represent nearly $10 billion of transaction value. Mr. Miller is past recipient of the prestigious “M&A Leadership” in Boutique Investment Banker category at the USA M&A Atlas Awards.


Gustavo Miranda

Gustavo a veteran dealmaker, was named the head of investment banking of Santander Brazil in 2019. He has advised on variety of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, as well as equity and debt related matters. Previously, he served as Head of Oil and Gas investment banking.


John Momtazee

John serves as the Global Head of Media Investment Banking and leads the Global Blockchain Group. He has advised and financed many of the largest, most sophisticated media clients across the diversified media, blockchain technology, television, radio, newspapers, magazines, digital media, video games, entertainment, publishing and outdoor advertising sectors.
