What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I always had an entrepreneurial interest and the ability to work with business owners through an important and challenging time has always been appealing. I love the combination of high-intensity yet nurturing.
How does diversity add value in the deal-making process?
Combining different ideas and perspectives can create disruption, but also innovation. In my experience I have found that diversity helps ensure we’ve analyzed all possible aspects and opportunities.
The most memorable deal I worked on....
Georgia Nursing - also my first. Everything was new. The thrill of the closing was as exciting for me as it was for my clients – that got me hooked.
Tell us about your experience during Covid-19, any lessons?
Working from home, juggling professional and domestic responsibilities wasn’t new for me, however, required a new level of discipline to compartmentalize tasks and ensure goals were met. Knowing that everyone was in a similar boat was a bonding experience, forcing creativity that I hope will last beyond the pandemic.
Advice for achieving success in the industry....
My advice would be to remove the word impossible from your vocabulary. You can do whatever you put your mind to and if something seems impossible that just means its going to take a little more time and effort.
