George is an internationally recognized advisor to companies particularly in the transportation sector. His recent significant and M&A Atlas Award winning deals include advising the Canadian Pacific Railway Board of Directors on its $29 billion acquisition of Kansas City Southern, and Burlington Northern Santa Fe on its $44 billion sale to Berkshire Hathaway (2011). George was awarded the prestigious “Investment Banker of the Year” accolade at the Americas M&A Atlas Awards (January 2023).


Peter Bowden

Pete is widely recognized for his vast experience, having advised on several of the most significant mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures in the Energy and in particular the Midstream sub-sector over the past many years. He joined Jefferies from Morgan Stanley in 2012. He began his career as an attorney at Andrews Kurth, LLP.


William Burgess

Bill has extensive financial industry experience and maintains a specific focus on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for depositories and insurance institutions. Previously, he was a principal and co-head of Investment Banking at Sandler O’Neill + Partners. Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill, he was a managing director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Burgess was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1994-1998.


Marco Caggiano

Marco has been advising on U.S and cross-border M&A transactions for over 22 years. He focuses on the media, digital media and communications sectors and has advised on over $350 billion of transactions. Recent notable transactions include advising Twitter on its sale to Elon Musk and Discovery on its merger with Warner Media.


Robert has more than 25 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity and corporate finance, and has been the lead banker in hundreds of M&A transactions aggregating billions of dollars throughout his career. A highly sought-after adviser and strategist to senior healthcare executives across the country, Mr. Ciardi’s transactional experience has proved invaluable to a myriad of clients in all sectors of healthcare services.


Daniel Connolly

Dan joined William Blair’s investment banking team in 1999 where he had previously served as head of technology M&A and head of software banking. Prior to William Blair, he worked for Merrill Lynch & Co. and Kidder, Peabody.


Joe has over 30 years' experience in investment banking, primarily focusing on the information services and media sectors. Prior to joining DC, Joe was Co-CEO of Sagent Advisors (acquired by DC Advisory in 2018), before which he had held roles at Gleacher & Company, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley.


William E. Edwards

Will has spent his career focused on mergers & acquisitions and strategic advisory across several industries, particularly the Food & Consumer Products industries. Notable and the M&A Atlas Award winning deals advised by Will includes Conagra Brands acquisition of Pinnacle Foods and Kraft merger with Heinz. Prior to joining Centerview at its inception, he was at Dresner Kleinwort Wasserstein.


Warren has over 30 years of investment banking and financial advisory experience. His specialty spans directing and advising mergers to sourcing of capital and investing. Having owned, operated and sold his own businesses in the past, he truly understands the significance of transactions. He works tirelessly to close the right deals with the right buyers at the highest prices. Warren began his career practicing law at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in the firm’s New York and London offices.


John is the founder of Capstone Partners, one of the largest and most active middle market investment banking firm in the U.S. During his 20-year leadership tenure, he has lead Capstone through two rounds of growth financings and nine strategic transactions, including the most recent public merger with Huntington Bank (NASDAQ: HBAN). John has acted as investment banker, management consultant, interim executive, investor, and board member to over 300 companies. He is a contributing author of "Best Practices of the Best Deal Makers" and "Agile M&A". John received the prestigious “M&A Leadership” accolade at the USA M&A Atlas Awards (2019).
