What led you to a career in the deal making industry?
I have always had a passion for making positive change. For me, a career in private equity was the best way to do this, as it provides an opportunity to partner with management teams to help their companies grow by leveraging my experiences helping other companies with the same.
Best practices for fostering an inclusive workplace...
One philosophy we have at Carlyle is that everyone’s perspective matters. It does not matter if it is the most senior deal partner or the most junior associate fresh out of investment banking, if someone has concerns about a particular investment, we want to hear them.
Advancing women to leadership positions...
Through mentorship, sponsorship, and honest feedback.
Advice for achieving success...
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
