What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I love the win-win aspect of closing a transaction or completing an IPO and helping my business clients achieve their strategic priorities.
How does diversity add value in the deal-making process?
Women tend to be more consensus builders than men, so research shows that having a woman negotiate your transaction will more likely lead to the deal getting done.
The most memorable deal I worked on....
In negotiating a hostile takeover, there was a physical altercation between my client and the other side. I had to step between them to diffuse the situation.
Advice for achieving success in the industry....
Don’t take perceived slights personally. Your job is to represent your client and to do it well.
