What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I was introduced to accounting and finance in college and, after working in accounting for many years, I was drawn to the high-stakes and challenging element that comes from dealmaking. It is very rewarding to assist business owners and clients across industries on the most important business lifecycle events.
Memorable deal I worked on... why?
I had the opportunity to work with a new private equity investment fund on their initial investments. Seeing a client’s vision come to life is a very memorable professional experience.
Most enjoy about my career...
I enjoy the fast-paced, dynamic deal environment, and resolving complex tax issues for my clients. I get to combine critical thinking and problem-solving competencies to help clients achieve deal success.
Profile:
Kyle serves PE firms and corporate entities in transactions across a variety of industries, focusing on buy- and sell-side tax diligence, structuring and modeling. Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Kyle practiced M&A tax advisory at a Big Four accounting firm.
Education: B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Tulane University, and M.S. in Taxation from Fordham University.
