Bruce H. Mendelsohn

Bruce focuses on advising clients in capital structure advisory, restructuring, liability management, distressed M&A and private capital solutions. He has more than 30 years of investment banking and capital structure advisory experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. Most recently he has advised Delta Air Lines in connection with the LATAM Airlines restructuring. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg, he was a Partner at Goldman and served as Head of the Americas Restructuring group.

Bruce was recipient of the prestigious “Restructuring Leadership” accolade, 2019 at the Turnaround Atlas Awards.


Andrew Merrett

Matthew Mintzer

Matthew advises companies, creditors and municipalities on restructuring and special situation assignments across a wide range of industries including telecommunications, energy, consumer, insurance, healthcare, financials, and automotive. Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Mintzer was a managing director and member of the founding team of TRS Advisors. Before that, he was a member of the restructuring advisory business at Rothschild, based in New York. Mintzer holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

David J. Molton

David focuses his practice in complex financial, commercial and mass tort litigation matters in federal, state and bankruptcy courts in the United States, and he represents foreign liquidators, official committees of creditors, unofficial ad hoc committees of creditors and interested parties in financial fraud and mass tort related litigations and bankruptcies in the United States and in foreign jurisdictions.


Blair Nimmo

Blair takes an active role in the oversight of largest insolvency assignments and in managing some of our largest client relationships at Interpath. He is the former UK Head of Restructuring and Global Head of Insolvency at KPMG.


Alejandro Sainz Orantes

Alejandro was a founding partner of Cervantes Sainz, a firm that was spun off into Sainz Abogados. He is also a member of the Financial, Corporate Governance and M&A practices. He has more than 30 years of experience advising and representing clients in the practices of Commercial Bankruptcy, Cross-border Restructuring, Financing and Corporate Reorganizations, complex corporate governance issues and in the purchase and sale of assets in complex or special situations. Alejandro has represented clients from various industries, nationally and internationally, public and private companies, as well as ad-hoc committees of international holders of bonds as well as in restructuring and debt exchange and insolvency proceedings under Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 of the Insolvency Code of the United States of America with respect to Mexican debtors.


Frank A. Oswald

Frank joined the firm in 1986 following internships with the late Hon. Conrad B. Duberstein, Chief Bankruptcy Judge, and the Hon. Cecilia Goetz, Bankruptcy Judge (retired) in the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. For more than 30 years, Frank has focused his practice exclusively on bankruptcy, out-of-court restructurings, and creditors' rights matters. He has represented chapter 11 debtors, bankruptcy trustees, creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, shareholders, distressed investors, defendants in avoidance actions, mediators, plan administrators, as well as landlords and tenants in bankruptcy cases, and entities seeking to acquire assets out of bankruptcy.


Ian Peck

Ian handles complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, out-of-court workouts, and distressed mergers and acquisitions transactions across a range of industries. He understands that debt restructuring, or bankruptcy can often be the most stressful and critical event in a client’s history and he brings a sense of calm determination to each restructuring engagement. Ian’s experience involves leading roles in some of the largest restructuring cases in recent history, including serving as lead counsel for a bankrupt bank holding company facing claims of over $2 billion, and representing one of the world’s largest generators and marketers of electricity in its successful Chapter 11 reorganization. Over the years, Ian has won many Turnaround Atlas Awards transactions.

What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry... My team of mentors, colleagues, and supporters (including an amazing family) has been a huge factor in my success.

What do you most enjoy about your career... I enjoy the deep dives we take into our clients’ businesses. Understanding their needs, becoming part of their team, and helping them overcome their challenges is hugely rewarding.


Eben Perison

Eben has over 25 years of experience advising middle market companies on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises and complex financial restructurings. Prior to forming Armory, Eben led the investment banking team at Oppenheimer & Co. and before that the Seaport Group where he served as the Head of Special Situations Investment Banking. Preceding his investment banking career, Eben served as a corporate lawyer for seven years with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
