Dennis Dunne

Dennis has extensive experience in representing companies and creditors in reorganization cases and out-of-court workouts, acquirors of financially distressed companies, providers of financing, and board of directors of public and private companies. Mr. Dunne plays a leadership role in these matters, frequently as counsel to companies or official and unofficial committees representing key creditor constituencies, such as bondholders, agents for lender syndicates, and large debt or equity holders. He also regularly represents private equity funds, hedge funds and other financial institutions acquiring control positions in financially distressed companies, both in and out of court. Dennis received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A from Williams College. Mr. Dunne was recognized by Global M&A Network’s Turnaround Atlas Awards as the Global Restructuring Lawyer of the Year.


Adam H. Friedman

Adam regularly represents clients in all aspects of insolvency proceedings, reorganization transactions, and financing transactions across the capital structure. He also advises clients on strategies to navigate financial distress and market uncertainty and regularly assists investors looking to capitalize on opportunities being created by market disruption. Adam is also a leader in Olshan’s Loan Restructuring and Distressed Real Estate Group and represents clients in connection with commercial, CMBS and mezzanine loan restructurings and litigation. He has substantial experience in both out-of-court and in-court restructuring matters. He also counsel’s parties with respect to fiduciary duties, director and officer liability, liability management, fraudulent conveyance and similar issues related to corporate transactions and insolvency proceedings.

What Adam most enjoys about his career... I have always enjoyed helping clients find solutions to problems. Whether in the context of a restructuring case or transaction, helping clients create value from distressed or special situations is always rewarding.


Gregg M. Galardi

Gregg has broad global experience and has represented some of the most well-known debtors and distressed borrowers, in a wide variety of industries. He has over 25 years of experience in both in court and out of court restructurings and reorganizations. Gregg also serves the firm's sponsor client base and portfolio company clients in distressed M&A and special situations. Gregg received his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School, Ph. D in Philosophy, M.A in Economics and B.A from University of Pennsylvania.

What Gregg most enjoys about his career... What I enjoy the most is getting to know different industries, being able to learn their businesses and working with so many talented and interesting people both at those companies and in the restructuring community.


Andrew K. Glenn

Andrew is one of the nation’s leading restructuring lawyers and a veteran first-chair trial lawyer. He frequently combines those skills to the benefit of his clients, using litigation as leverage to maximize creditors’ recoveries in bankruptcy proceedings or other contexts. He has been involved in several of the most notable restructurings in recent decades, including those of Puerto Rico and Hertz Global. Beyond his vast experience leading restructuring transactions, he frequently acts as lead counsel in bankruptcy litigation, commercial litigation, and litigation involving issues of corporate governance. Before co-founding Glenn Agre, Andrew was a partner at Kasowitz Benson Torres and an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton. He is graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, J.D., and Columbia University, B.A.


Michael J. Goldberg

Michael specializes in business bankruptcy, financial restructuring and business and commercial real estate transactions. In his 35 years of practice, he has represented a broad spectrum of clients in insolvency matters, including debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, assignees, landlords, secured and unsecured creditors, and investors. He has also served as counsel to purchasers and sellers of industrial, office and multifamily real estate, with a particular expertise in real estate financing. He is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics, particularly on the impact of bankruptcy issues on real estate transactions. Twice ranked as one of New England’s “Top 100” lawyers, Mr. Goldberg is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and is rated as a leading bankruptcy lawyer in Massachusetts by the following: Chambers USA - America’s Leading Business Lawyers, since 2006, and Super Lawyers Massachusetts - Bankruptcy, since 2004.

What Michael most enjoys about his career... What I most enjoy about bankruptcy practice is the challenge of convincing a multitude of competing constituencies, all of whom have suffered financial losses, that their common interest is in a negotiated resolution permitting the continuation of a renewed business enterprise – and the rewarding and sometimes surprising collaborations that result.


Elizabeth A. Green

Elizabeth has represented corporate debtors, committees, trustees and creditors in a wide variety of complex cases and industries, including energy, healthcare, hospitality and real estate. Elizabeth has been inducted as a fellow into the prestigious American College of Bankruptcy, and she has attained Chambers' highest ranking of Star Individual. As an adjunct professor at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, Elizabeth teaches Advanced Bankruptcy.

What Elizabeth most enjoys about her career... I most enjoy assisting with and learning about a wide range of industries and solving problems in which I can offer both legal and business solutions. I most value that I have the privilege of practicing with one of the most collegial bars and before smart, practical and sophisticated judges.


Scott J. Greenberg

Scott focuses on representing debtors and creditors in in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Greenberg’s recent representations include serving as lead counsel on Outcome Health, Rex Energy, M&G Chemicals, and American Apparel’s chapter 11 cases. On the creditor side he recently represented the term lenders in 4L/Clover, Akorn, AMC, Catalina Marketing, Garrett Motion, Global Eagle Entertainment, Mallinckrodt, NPC, and WorldStrides, etc. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, he was a partner at Jones Day, where he also served as co-head of the Jones Day Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice. Mr. Greenberg received his law degree from Emory University School of Law and B.A. from Boston University.


Robert M. Hirsh

Robert has substantial experience in Chapter 11 proceedings, representing creditor committees, acquirers, fiduciaries, indenture trustees, bondholders, boards of directors, and other significant parties in complex restructurings both in and out of court. Relied upon by clients for his skill at developing unique solutions to complex matters, Robert focuses his practice on debtor-in-possession financing, exit financing, and distressed and special situation financing. His diverse and extensive experience spans a wide array of industries, with a particular emphasis on health care (including long-term care and senior living), manufacturing, oil and gas, energy, mining and exploration, life sciences, e-commerce, and hospitality. Mr. Hirsh received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and B.A. from Brandeis University.


Jane Kim

Jane is co-founding partner at Keller Benvenutti Kim, a San Francisco-based corporate bankruptcy and restructuring boutique law firm. Jane's recent engagements include representing In-Shape Health Clubs, a premium regional fitness club chain in California, and Ravn Air Group, a regional airline in Alaska, in each of their chapter 11 cases filed in Delaware. Jane also serves as bankruptcy co-counsel for Pacific Gas & Electric Company in its chapter 11 case, the largest chapter 11 filing in the Northern District of California in over a decade, which emerged from bankruptcy in July 2020 through a confirmed, largely consensual plan of reorganization. She is a fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and has been recognized as a leading lawyer by publications and organizations including Chambers USA, SuperLawyers, Best Lawyers, Global M&A Network, Benchmark Litigation California, and Lawdragon.

What Jane most values about her career... The most rewarding part of my job is advising a client confronting difficult, complicated crises. In those times, a client needs a steady, experienced voice to guide them to practical solutions. Getting to do all of that with a wonderful, smart, and supportive team is the icing on the cake.


Susheel Kirpalani

Susheel founded the bankruptcy and restructuring practice at the firm. He has broad experience advising debtors, creditors, as a Court-appointed examiner and mediator, municipal restructuring as well as international insolvencies. He recently represented ad hoc groups of COFINA Senior and Lawful Constitutional Debt Coalition Bondholders during Puerto Rico’s financial crisis. In connection with the Puerto Rico matter, at the request of the Speaker of the House, Susheel worked on the bill and testified before Congress regarding the fairness of the restructuring title of the Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act, which was ultimately enacted into law. Susheel received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and B.A. in Economics from Queens College.
