Michael leads the Restructuring Services and is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. With over 30 years of experience, he is renowned nationally as an industry leader in providing restructuring advice to creditors and companies in complex Chapter 11 and out-of-court workout situations. He specializes in advising diverse constituencies to maximize recoveries and outcomes and brokering agreements among parties with often disparate interests. He has brought his extensive leadership experience to bear across various industries, including retail and consumer products, automotive, airlines, financial services and real estate.
What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry… Having wonderful mentors and teachers to learn from throughout my career, as well as an unbelievably supportive team and a loving and supporting family are all key factors to my success thus far.
What do you most enjoy about your career… One of the aspects I enjoy most about my career is the people I work with, both internally and externally. As I mentioned, one of the factors in my success is having a supporting staff. I’m also fortunate to have a wonderful client base as friends.
