Chris focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, financial restructuring, bankruptcy and distressed litigation, and distressed asset sales, as well as non-bankruptcy alternatives. Chris primarily represents distressed borrowers, chapter 11 debtors, and board of directors and independent directors in financially distressed scenarios. He has written and spoken extensively on fiduciary duties and corporate governance issues in the zone of insolvency. He is also Vice-President – Development on the Executive Board of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI).
What Chris most values about his career… I value the ability to assist companies use legal strategies to restructure their business, whether that is through a chapter 11 bankruptcy filing or an out-of-court alternative. I strive to provide a company’s Board and management with options to fulfill their fiduciary duties when confronted with a loan default, a liquidity crisis, or an operational challenge.
