What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry… Leading restructuring engagements across a vast number of geographies with very diverse regulatory and idiosyncratic approaches to corporate failure and restructuring. The opportunity to serve clients in stress and distress situations in US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and South and Central America has provided me with a unique, rich understanding of the different strategies and the limitations and opportunities that emerge from restructuring and turnaround situations. In addition, focusing in situations with increased complexity associated to cross-border / cross jurisdictional cases adds a distinctive skillset when advising either creditors or debtors.

What do you most enjoy about your career… Being an enabler of consensus for change by (1) swiftly understanding the critical drivers a troubled business and (2) envisioning the opportunity an optionality to enhance value for stakeholders.
