What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I loved the idea of having a tangible impact on how not only a company, but in some cases, whole industries operate and develop over time. Ending up in the lower middle market has been particularly fulfilling when you consider how monumental a transaction can be for a founder-owned business.
Memorable deal I worked on... why?
FCNE’s* partnership with First Fertility/Sverica Capital. As a father, knowing how the proliferation of IVF will bring tremendous joy to future parents is a uniquely fulfilling aspect of this deal.
Most enjoy about my career...
The wide variety of opportunities the job provides, whether it be traveling to new locations, working with all different types of people, or most of all, helping our clients meet their goals.

Profile:

Scott leads transactions across a wide range of healthcare services sectors, focusing on business development, marketing, negotiation of deal terms, and due diligence efforts. This role requires Scott to be in frequent contact with the financial and strategic investor community to ensure transaction processes are positioned correctly. Scott also leverages his prior deal work to assist on the firm’s business development efforts. Prior to joining Provident, Scott was employed at the Bank of New York Mellon in the firm’s Private Wealth Management Department, where he worked on the accounts of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.

Education: B.A in International Business and Finance from Suffolk University.
