What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I came out of law school where, had I gone the traditional route, my involvement and focus would have been in papering transactions. However, after exposure to investment banking, I had more of an interest in executing on and managing clients through the entirety of complex mergers and acquisitions processes.
Memorable deal I worked on... why?
A large musculoskeletal-focused physician practice management transaction because of the deal’s complexities - involvement of multiple competitive hospital systems, several facilities assets and numerous clinical entities in different specialties.
Most enjoy about my career...
Working with founder- and family-owned businesses to help realize meaningful liquidity for what they have built in transactions that also create partnerships with institutional capital providers to support continued growth.
