What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I graduated from college with a dual degree in history and philosophy. Quickly recognized my options were limited with that background, so I decided to use law school as a steppingstone into business. Landed in the Dentons Venture Technology group as a first-year associate, and here I am.
Memorable deal I worked on... why?
A complicated cross-border financing during Thanksgiving 2018. The timeline was demanding, negotiations were treacherous and tempers ran hot. My client was against the clock to make payroll by year-end. I worked straight through the holidays to ensure we hit our deadline. Realized afterwards that I loved every minute of it.”
Most enjoy about my career...
Having the privilege to work with ultra-ambitious people bringing exciting new technologies to market. No day is ever the same—there is always something new and exciting crossing my desk.
