What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
Being an athlete, I was fascinated with the world behind the scenes in sports and how agents held shape the landscape. I decided to pursue law school originally to end up as an agent, but quickly saw that the M&A world was more complex and interesting than negotiating sports contracts.
Memorable deal I worked on... why?
Promega’s novel litigation settlement and strategic investment that involved complex personalities and legal/financial issues, while battling Covid’s impact on the business. Truly a situation where the company was at stake.
Most enjoy about my career...
Building deep relationships with clients and solving their most complex problems. I’m lucky to call clients “friends” and handle situations that move the needle in their businesses and lives.
