What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
Having spent the majority of my career at bulge bracket firms covering PE relationships on the asset management side, deal making on the sell side proved to be an incredibly exciting, invigorating, and vibrant part of the business. There is something new to learn every day, and I love the intensity and fast paced nature of the industry.
Memorable deal I worked on... why?
We were coming out of a pandemic year, when business travel just started taking off. We had a memorable pitch for a mandate in Salt Lake City, a mandate we won with a board of venerable institutional investors. We got a fantastic outcome for the client, selling to WorkWave, a major private equity backed strategic.
Most enjoy about my career...
I enjoy the in-person relationships, constant dialogue, and idea generation with private equity dealmakers across the country. Furthermore, having regular interactions with entrepreneurs and learning about their life story is incredibly rewarding.
