What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I started my career in corporate finance and quickly realized that I wanted to be on the consulting side of the finance world. I had heard of Prairie Capital Advisors and what they were doing with employee ownership and thought that could be fun and rewarding.
Tell us about your experience and what was different during the Covid-19?
Like most places, COVID-19 quickly forced us into a remote environment. Our teams at Prairie are highly collaborative. We quickly had to find a way to work together virtually and keep our standards of high-quality consulting. These changes also gave us new perspectives on the balance of life.
Recent most memorable deal I worked on....
The 1st Pet ESOP transaction has outstanding people that are doing great for our communities. The employees are now able to share in the value that they create every day.
