What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
After attending my first deposition as a law clerk, I immediately knew I needed to pivot from litigation. I wanted to help build and not destroy. Deal-making allows me to partner with clients to achieve transformational opportunities, which keeps me motivated and inspired in my practice.
Tell us about your experience and what was different during the Covid-19?
When deal flow paused in March 2020, I dove in and joined our CARES Act Response Team, primarily helping clients obtain PPP and EIDL loans. This was stressful work, but incredibly meaningful. It was an honor to help clients obtain the lifelines they needed to survive and ultimately thrive.
Recent most memorable deal I worked on....
We helped Flynn Restaurant Group double in size by acquiring 1,000+ restaurants out of bankruptcy. It was the largest franchisee deal in U.S. history and a truly inspiring team effort!
