What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I've always been fascinated by technology companies given my engineering and operations background. However, the ability to unlock the strategic (and often hidden) value of a business by leveraging my quantitative skills and strong industry network is what really drew me into investment banking.
Tell us about your experience and what was different during the Covid-19?
While the pandemic has wreaked havoc on the lives of millions across the globe, our industry was one of the fortunate ones that survived (and given our Cybersecurity specialization) even thrived these past 18 months. While productivity increased for us, we all do miss our in-person interpersonal connections.

The sale of Herjavec Group to Apax Partners was an incredible experience, working with a world class team, a phenomenal and charismatic CEO, and a top tier investment firm.
Dino has spent over 16 years in the technology industry with expertise in cybersecurity, finance, strategy, operations, entrepreneurship, and venture capital & private equity. He was a Founding Director of Momentum Partners, the precursor to Momentum Cyber. He has spent much of his career working with and advising venture-backed and bootstrapped start-ups, including Cameron Health a medical device start-up which created the world’s first subcutaneous implantable defibrillator and was ultimately acquired by Boston Scientific for $1.35B.
