Fernando Marques Oliveira

Fernando has over 25 years of experience in the Brazilian and Latin American private equity market. He has led more than 70 successful investments in the region in various sectors. Before joining H.I.G., Fernando was a partner at General Atlantic, the Head for Brazil & Latin America and Member of its Global Council. Prior to that, he spent a number of years at Icatu, a leading Brazilian family office, where he was a partner and Head of Private Equity & Illiquid Strategies.

Fernando received his B.B.A. from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, with highest honors, J.P.C. Vieira scholar, and ranking first in his class.


Travis Pearson

Travis has investment responsibilities for, and currently serves on the boards of Aras, Insurity, Togetherwork, Doxim, Flexential, MRI Software, Daxko, Rectangle Health, and GTY Technology. He is also responsible for developing the Firm’s Portfolio Operations Program. Prior to joining GI Partners, he spent 15 years at Bain & Company, where he advised leading firms in technology, media, and telecommunications. He also worked with top private equity firms on over 100 transactions and served GI Partners on a variety of successful investments.

Travis received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, and M.A. and B.A. from Duke University, cum laude and with distinction in Economics.


Ezra joined the firm in 2003 and serves on the board of directors of Avalon, bswift, Edifecs, Merative (formerly known as IBM Watson), QGenda, and Renaissance. His former board service includes Aconex, AdvancedMD, Aesynt, API Healthcare, Attachmate, Atteni, Availity, Connecture, CoverMyMeds, eSolutions, HealthcareSource, Healthland, Kyruus, Landmark Health, LYNX Medical Systems, myOn, Nextech, QuadraMed, RedPrairie, Smart Modular, T-System, and TRC Healthcare. He previously worked at Battery Ventures, Advanta, and Oliver Wyman.

Ezra has an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College as well as an M.B.A. from Stanford GSB.

What he most enjoys and value about your career... For the last two decades, we’ve been one of the most active private equity firms in the healthcare and healthcare technology space. It’s extremely rewarding to work with companies that are leveraging their technologies, products and solutions to provide better access to care, better affordability, and better adherence to medications.


John C. Redett

John has led or been a key contributor to several Carlyle investments across various subsectors of financial services, including Duff & Phelps, TCW, BankUnited, Hilb Group, EPIC, DBRS, Central Pacific Bank, CFGI, Sedgwick, PIB Group and JenCap. He serves as a director on the boards of Sedgwick, PIB, Galway Insurance, Hilb, Vantage Group, Hurst Point, CFGI and Calastone. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2007, Mr. Redett was with Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in New York.

John received an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.S. from University of Colorado.


Ken Rotman

Ken has more than 25 years of experience as a private equity investor. He joined Clairvest in 1993 and, together with other managing directors, has been the driving force behind the design, implementation and success of Clairvest’s private equity investment business. He has been directly involved in investments in the renewable power, waste management and defense contracting industries, amongst others. He is currently on the Board of five portfolio companies: NovaSource Power Services, Top Aces, Accel Entertainment, Air Tindi/Discovery Mining Services and Momentum Solutions.

Ken earned a B.A. from Tufts University, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and an M.B.A. from New York University.


Rob Rutledge

Rob helps identify, evaluate, and execute acquisition and investment opportunities. He joined Genstar Capital as an Associate in 2003. He began his career in the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney in San Francisco and New York advising on mergers and acquisitions and capital market offerings.

Rob received his M.B.A. from Stanford University and Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.


Peter Samson

Pete has been Chair of Ironbridge's Investment Committee since January 2008. Prior to joining Ironbridge, he spent over 20 years at Bain & Company in their Toronto office, where he held several leadership roles including Head of the Canadian Financial Services, the Canadian Private Equity and the Americas Asset Management Practices, and was a leader in the firm’s Global Merger Integration Practice Area. Prior to Bain, Pete worked as an Associate at Wood Gundy, a major Canadian Investment Bank. Currently, he serves as Chairperson of Hank’s Maintenance and Service, Avena Foods, and Les Industries Cendrex, and is a director of M&M Resources, Thermogenics, Brooklin Concrete Products, AV Gauge & Fixture and CMP Group.

Pete holds an Honours Business Administration degree from The University of Western Ontario and the CFA designation.


Monti Saroya

Monti joined Vista Equity Partners in 2008 and sits on Vista Flagship Fund Investment Committee. Additionally, he serves as a member of Vista’s Executive Committee, and Vista’s Private Equity Management Committee, the firm’s decision-making body for matters affecting Vista’s overall private equity platform. He currently sits on the boards of Advanced, Allvue Systems, Apptio, Cvent, Drift, Finastra, Gainsight, iCIMS, Infoblox, Mindbody, Olive, Pipedrive, Pluralsight, PowerSchool, Salesloft, Solera, TIBCO, Upside and Xactly. He is also actively involved in the firm’s investments in Jio and Vivid Seats.

Monti received B.S. in Computer Engineering, California Polytechnic State University, magna cum laude.


Ricardo Leonel Scavazza

Ricardo is primarily responsible for overseeing all the Latam Private Equity strategy at Patria. Before taking over as CEO & CIO for Private Equity Latam, he served as the Head of Private Equity Strategy in Brazil. Ricardo joined Patrimônio in 1999, became a partner in 2005 and has worked on several new investments and acquisitions for the portfolio companies of Private Equity Funds I, II, III, IV and V. In addition, he also worked as Chief Executive Officer at Anhanguera between 2009 and 2013, and as Chief Financial Officer at DASA, in 2001, and at Anhanguera from 2003 to 2006.

Ricardo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and an M.B.A. from Kellogg Scholl of Management, Northwestern University.


Loren co-founded and leads the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund. He guides investing and operating teams in the acquisition, growth and sale of portfolio companies, as well as the strategic direction of the fund. Prior to Riverside, he was an Associate for Claremont Capital Corporation and TCW Capital, and an Analyst for Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. In addition to his work with Riverside, he serves on the board of trustees for the Portland Oregon Art Museum. Loren is recipient of the prestigious USA and Americas Private Equity Dealmaker of the Year accolade at the M&A Atlas Awards, hosted by Global M&A Network (2012 and 2023.)

Loren holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from New York University.
