J. SCOTT VICTOR

Scott is an internationally recognized leader in the restructuring industry with over 40 years of experience representing companies in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts. He has completed over 350 sales, refinancing and restructuring transactions in North America and Europe for companies facing operational and/or financial challenges. Scott is a long time Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and served on the Board of Directors and Foundation Board.

The firm once again won the multiple awards including – “Outstanding Boutique Restructuring Investment Bank” firm award along with transactional awards including - Pegasus Home Fashions §363 sale to Blue Torch Capital, won “Distressed Invesment Deal” and Custom Alloy Corporation in the Sale of Substantially All of its Assets to an Affiliate of Trident Maritime Systems won the “Industrials Restructuring” of the year honors presented during the 16th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards Gala.

What factors has led to your success... I was fortunate to spend the first 16+ years of my career as a bankruptcy lawyer and was easily able to transfer to special situations investment banking in 2000. Having a bankruptcy law background was critical to my background in investment banking. Hard work, perseverance, closing deals, and professionalism are the keystones to success in the restructuring industry.

Most enjoy about his work... I most enjoy that I get to work with about 25 companies every year in different industries with all of them needing a strategic solution to their particular situations. We are trauma doctors for companies facing challenges. I also enjoy mentoring our team from managing directors to analysts so they can further their careers.

Geoff and the team won the “Out of Court Restructuring” of the year award presented at the 16th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards for advising CNG Holdings in its liability management and Secured Notes Exchange.


BRENT WILLIAMS

Brent has provided advisory on operational and financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising services to stakeholders in stressed and distressed situations for more than 25 years. He has advised in situations across the globe and has been involved in more than 100 restructuring transactions, involving over $125 billion of debt and $40 billion of distressed M&A deals.


DAVID YING

David’s primary focus is advising companies, boards of directors and owners on complex situations where a combination of company-specific challenges, volatile capital markets conditions and high degrees of leverage require his knowledge of restructuring, capital markets and M&A. Notable clients have included GM, Ford, Chrysler, LyondellBasell, EFH, CIT, Ally Financial, GE, Chesapeake Energy and Frontier Communications. Prior to joining Evercore in 2005, he led restructuring groups at Drexel Burnham in the 1980s and DLJ in the 1990s.


STEVE ZELIN

Steve has extensive experience advising domestic and international, formal, and informal restructuring transactions across multiple industries over his 34-year career. Steve’s recent restructuring assignments include Pacific Gas & Electric, Puerto Rico Oversight Board, Softbank/OneWeb and Intelsat.
