What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry… Luck… I never would have joined the industry if I hadn’t received a call after I accepted an accounting offer from Arthur Andersen to join the Restructuring Practice From my first matter working on the reorganization of Greyhound Dial Corporation to 30 more years of case experience, I have met so many great clients and professionals. The other factor has been flexibility. Nothing goes the way you draw it up on paper, you need to bend and find new solutions.
What do you most enjoy about your career… The professionals I have met along the way. My closest friends are people I have worked with over the years. I also enjoy the people I have nurtured grow up to be successful in the industry. I had some incredible mentors over the years, like John Dubel, Bill Henrich, Bernie Katz amongst many others. We each owe it back to the industry to develop tomorrow’s leaders.
