Maggie leads the firm’s strategy and decisions. Prior to founding Turning Rock Partners, she was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group. She has extensive private equity and debt experience. She holds degrees from Vanderbilt and NYU Stern and serves on multiple nonprofit and advisory boards.
What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I was blessed to have spent time at sophisticated institutions where I had excellent mentors and colleagues. I started my career in private equity and then expanded into credit.
Most memorable deal I worked on...
My most memorable deal was the leveraged buyout of a large-scale data center operator with a global reach. I enjoyed working with leadership, lenders and equity shareholders along the way.
My number one advice for achieving success in the industry...
My number one advice is to work hard and to never quit.
What you most enjoy about your career...
I love my team, my partners, our clients and the entire ecosystem. I am fortunate to have a wonderful spouse and children that support me along the way.
