What led you to a career in the deal-making industry?
I began my career in audit at a Big 4 firm, building a strong financial foundation. I then spent four years developing expertise in business restructuring before transitioning to transaction advisory. Today at CohnReznick, I advise middle-market entrepreneurs, families, and private equity investors on executing growth-focused transactions that can create lasting value.
Most memorable deal I worked on...
We completed the carve-out of a manufacturing business from a public company for private equity investment. The deal involved managing multiple entities, union considerations, and highly complex operations, requiring strategic coordination and collaboration to achieve a successful outcome.
My number one advice for achieving success in the industry...
Be proactive and intentional—ask for what you want. Whether it’s a new role, introductions, or better work-life balance, confidence and communication open doors. Don’t wait for opportunities; create them.
