Profile:

Thiago is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, transaction structuring and negotiation, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Thiago worked as a private equity investment professional for Mubadala Capital, GP Investments and Permira. He served as either member or observer on the boards of directors of Centauro, Tempo Assist and Porto Sudeste. Earlier in his career he worked for nearly 5 years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG)’s São Paulo and London offices as well as for J.P. Morgan in London.

Thiago holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master's of Science in Engineering from École Centrale de Lyon, and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP, with honors. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and French.
