M. Benjamin Jones

Ben is a recognized leader in the restructuring profession with more than 20 years of experience advising and participating in complex corporate reorganizations. He has been involved in all aspects of financial restructuring, serving as Chief Restructuring Officer or as an advisor to financially underperforming/distressed companies, lenders, creditors, corporate boards, and equity owners. He has advised clients in diverse businesses including healthcare, education, professional services, manufacturing, apparel, food processing, retail, and entertainment. Ben has also served in turnaround management positions including as President, CRO, and Chief Financial Officer on numerous occasions for both private and public companies. Prior to joining Ankura, Ben was a Senior Managing Director at CDG Group.


Mike Juniper

Mike has 15 years of experience in financial and operational analysis and improvement, turnaround and restructuring consulting, and interim management. He has served as an advisor to numerous companies through Chapter 11 proceedings and has also served as interim CFO and CRO of many engagements. He has extensive experience in the food processing, manufacturing, and consumer products industries. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a certified turnaround professional who is active in the restructuring community, serving previously as Dallas/Ft. Worth TMA president.

What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry... At the risk of sounding cliché, I wouldn’t be here without the patience and support of my early mentors or my current partners and colleagues here at CR3 Partners. Being surrounded by remarkable and passionate people is what has helped me be successful.

What do you most enjoy about your career... Aside from the people I work with, learning about a new company and trying to help them solve their problems are what I enjoy most.


Vladimir Kasparov

Vlad specializes in managing complex financial and operational restructuring. Over the last 20 years, he has assisted clients, primarily in the Middle Market sector, in navigating periods of downturn, as well as providing interim management services and stepping into officer/director roles. Most recently, he spent nearly 12 years at Andrews Advisory Group where he advised leading financial institutions, including mezzanine lenders, hedge funds and private equity specifically involving companies that were experiencing various forms of distress. Vlad earned his MBA from the University of Southern Indiana where he also received his bachelor’s degree, majoring in finance and economics.


Brent King

Brent has over 25 years' experience as a corporate insolvency leader and has served as CEO, CRO, Judicial Receiver, Chapter 11 Trustee, Interim CFO, or senior advisor to both public and private corporations in a wide range of industries. As a fourth-generation farmer, he brings unique perspective to clients involved in the agricultural industry, including pork processing; beef and dairy production; row crop and grain production; vegetable production and distribution; soybean crushing; biodiesel and ethanol production; equipment manufacturing; trucking logistics; among others. He holds the CTP designation and is a member of TMA, ABI, and a Sate Director of the Commercial Receiver Association.

What do you most enjoy about your career... I get to learn about unique problems and creatively solve them.


Margot MacInnis

Margot leads the insolvency and corporate recovery assignments in the Cayman Islands and Offshore. She is responsible for practice development and leading the team across global engagements. Margot has over 25 years of experience of asset tracing and recovery, is a forensic accountant, as well as a certified fraud examiner and anti-money laundering specialist.


Gaurav Malhotra

Gaurav is part of the EY Global Restructuring team, bringing strategic alternatives and options to stressed and distressed clients around the world. With nearly 20 years of restructuring experience, he works with boards of directors, executive management teams and other stakeholders to help implement sustainable financial and operational turnaround plans with a focus on value maximization. Gaurav has extensive experience in leading complex restructurings, distressed M&As and capital sourcing deals and bringing disparate parties together in multi-party negotiations, including negotiating restructuring plans, valuation analyses and effective turnaround strategies with multiple creditor groups.

Most recently, Gaurav and the firm advised in the restructuring proceedings for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, a Turnaround Atlas Awards winning transaction earlier this year.


Drew McManigle

Drew founded – MACCO Restructuring Group, an award-winning business restructuring and financial advisory firm. For over 30 years, in both leadership and fiduciary roles, his solutions-driven style has led to successful outcomes in a variety of complex and distressed situations. He is one of 9 professionals chosen to serve as a Sub-Chapter V, Small Business Chapter 11 trustees in the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. Drew is a graduate of the University of Houston and has been quoted in multiple national publications, appeared on television and is a regular conference panelist and public speaker.

What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry... A focus on cost-effective client solutions, not billable hours.

Blair Nimmo

Blair takes an active role in the oversight of largest insolvency assignments and in managing some of our largest client relationships at Interpath. He is the former UK Head of Restructuring and Global Head of Insolvency at KPMG.


Larry Perkins

Larry has more than 20 years of leadership experience with companies undergoing transition. He has enhanced business performance for companies through interim management, strategic planning, and transaction execution. He has served as Interim CEO/President, Chief Restructuring Officer, and Board of Directors Member, among others, to numerous middle-market companies and is skilled at assisting clients through challenging situations. Larry is the bestselling author of “Don’t Be A Stranger”, where he explores the secrets of strategic relationship building. He graduated from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.

What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry... One factor for me is the ability to view a challenging situation, and act quickly while not having perfect information. The advantage of being an advisor in a tough situation is that we’re not burdened by history, and can objectively make decisions based on the current facts when we arrive.

What do you most enjoy about your career... I enjoy the deep dives we take into our clients’ businesses. Understanding their needs, becoming part of their team, and helping them overcome their challenges is hugely rewarding.


Devi Rajani

Devi focuses on assisting companies to navigate through the challenging process of fixing their capital structure through debt restructurings and capital raising in Latin America. Devi has more than 15 years of experience working exclusively on large multinational restructuring assignments in Latin America, having restructured more than USD85 billion of debt. Devi brings an unparalleled ability to tackle complex situations given her deep technical expertise, having advised both companies and creditors across a variety of industries, including but not limited to the construction, manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, oil and gas and financial service industries in Mexico, Chile, Brazil and the Caribbean.

Most recently, Devi advised on a Turnaround Atlas Awards winning transaction - LATAM Airlines Group S.A., Latin America’s largest airline, in its USD10.8 billion restructuring.

What factor has most led to your success in the restructuring industry... Genuineness is an important factor that has allowed me to connect with clients, companies and colleagues. Being able to be open and vulnerable with the people you are working together with allows for connections and trust to build and grow, which becomes especially important during times of crisis.

What do you most enjoy about your career... I love being able to connect with the unique network of people and over the years, many have become friends, mentors/sponsors and trusted advisors. I also enjoy being able to pass it on by helping mentor and guide the next generation of professionals.
