Cynthia is a highly accomplished performance improvement and restructuring professional. Her expertise, built over 25+ years, is routinely sought by law firms, lenders, equity sponsors, and companies in transition, stress or distress. Since joining CohnReznick mid-2019, she has overseen strategic growth, client relations, marketing and talent development for her practice and led explosive and profitable growth of a niche NY/NJ- based practice from 9 professionals to a national practice with 29 full-time professionals, including six partners. Her results are consistently outstanding and she to marries accounting and advisory services for client benefit. She has led a significant number of performance improvement engagements that have helped clients achieve profitability and/or return to profitability after years of losses. Cynthia has been repeatedly recognized with prestigious industry awards including 2021 Turnaround of the Year (Global M&A Network), 2020 Turnaround and Transaction of the Year (Turnaround Management Association), and 2020 Out-of-Court Restructuring of the Year (Global M&A Network).


William Snyder

William has restructured, managed, and guided a multitude of companies in a wide variety of industries for close to 40 years,. He is a broadly experienced restructuring professional who has participated in the restructuring of hundreds of companies and has acted as a fiduciary in many cases. He brings a meaningful style of results-driven leadership to complex crisis situations. Prior to joining CR3 Partners, William served as a partner in several firms. Most recently, he was the Market Offering Leader for the Deloitte Corporate Restructuring Practice in the U.S. and the Americas. Mr. Synder is a graduate of the Texas A&M University.


Brian Weiss

Brian specializes in advising public and private companies with complex transactions involving complex chapter 11 restructurings, out-of-court restructuring, crisis management and litigation support services. He represents debtors, equity sponsors and creditor committees in a range of industries including manufacturing, restaurant/retail, technology, construction and real estate. Brian provides logical and defensible solutions to complex situations and has delivered numerous effective results to his clients while serving in capacities including, Financial Advisor, Chief Restructuring Officer, Liquidating Trustee, Independent Transaction Manager, and Receiver. His experience includes leading complex restructurings engagements, developing prepackaged and traditional reorganization plans, leading §363 asset sales, investigating avoidance actions and performing accounting investigations. Over past 20+ years, Brian has successfully led numerous restructuring engagements, developed plans of reorganizations, and §363 asset sales. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.

What Brian enjoys about his career... I enjoy working with companies and their board of directors to develop in-and-out of bankruptcy court solutions to complex financial and operational issues that allows enterprises to restructure, preserve jobs, and continue as a going concern.


Allen D. Wilen

Allen has more than 30 years of financial and accounting experience in both national and regional public accounting firms. He has been appointed in numerous fiduciary capacities by both federal and state courts as a Receiver, Special Fiscal Agent, Liquidating Trustee, Examiner, Provisional Director, and Chief Restructuring Officer. He has represented numerous distressed businesses in navigating their path through the complexity and confusion of the turnaround, sale and liquidation processes. Allen has written articles and industry journals, also has been a speaker on several topics, including director and officer liability in non-profit entities, prepackaged chapter 11s, valuation, professional ethics and distressed healthcare-related entities Most recently, Global M&A Network named Allen the 2021 Turnaround Consultant of the Year.

What Allen values about his career... My career has provided opportunities to see a variety of industries, broadening my expertise, while simultaneously challenging me to grow as a professional. I value assisting clients during their critical time of need and to be part of developing the solution.


John T. Young, Jr.

John oversees a suite of Houston-based services, including transaction and transformation, fiduciary, restructuring, interim management, and litigation support. He has extensive experience serving in interim leadership positions, including those of chief restructuring officer, chief executive officer, and chief financial officer. Most of his interim management and advisory experience has involved Chapter 11 debtors. Additionally, he leads advisory efforts focused on the firm’s unsecured creditors’ committee practice, maximizing unsecured claim recoveries in Chapter 11 bankruptcies. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in the restructuring of over $100 billion of debt and has significant experience in the energy, infrastructure, and industrial services sectors. While his experience in recent years has been dominated by downturns in the energy sector, he has been involved in and obtained significant recoveries for his clients in several notable non-energy matters throughout his career.

What John values about his career... I value the opportunities to work with incredibly bright professionals in an environment requiring highly developed problem solving abilities. More importantly, knowing that brilliance and problem solving abilities in this environment are only as good as one’s ability to negotiate. J.T. Atkins

J.T. has been an investment banker for more than 35 years, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and bankruptcies and leveraged finance transactions. He has worked for companies in many industries including, among others, power and energy, business services, technology, telecommunications, media/entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing, automotive, consumer products, retailing and oil and gas. As part of activities on behalf of clients, Cypress provides advisory services to acquirors and sellers of assets, debtors, creditors and other parties-in-interest, as placement agent in arranging financing for clients seeking to obtain financing for growth or acquisitions. Prior to founding Cypress, Mr. Atkins was a managing Director at CIBC Oppenheimer, Houlihan Lokey and PaineWebber. He began his career as an attorney at Skadden Arps.

Neil A. Augustine

Neil’s transactions experience has ranged from out-of-court restructurings to in-court insolvencies in the U.S., Europe, Canada, Chile, and Mexico. He joined Greenhill in 2018 and, prior to joining Greenhill, Neil spent 17 years at Rothschild where he most recently served as Executive Vice Chairman and Co-Head of North American Debt Advisory and Restructuring. Neil was also one of the founding members of The Blackstone Group’s Restructuring and Reorganization Financial Advisory Department. His merger and acquisition experience includes troubled company buyside and sellside assignments, and special committee representations. On the financing front, his expertise includes debtor-in-possession financings, secured bank debt, exit financing, second lien loans, convertible notes, rights offerings, and preferred stock investments. Neil holds an MBA and a BA from the University of Rochester. Mr. Augustine was recipient of the “Global Restructuring Investment Banker” accolade at the Turnaround Atlas Awards Gala.

What Neil enjoys about his career... Over these last 33 years, I’ve most enjoyed the personal and professional relationships formed with clients, counter parties and co-advisors, creating solutions to the challenges my clients have faced, being pushed to bring our A game each and every day and training bankers and watching them succeed in various careers.


Ronen Bojmel

Ronen has advised a wide variety of domestic and international clients in out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and capital raising activities. Formerly, Ronen was a Partner and Managing Director at Miller Buckfire. Prior to joining Miller Buckfire, he was a Vice President in the financial restructuring group of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and its predecessor, Wasserstein Perella & Co. Widely applauded for his creativity and strong leadership in major complex restructuring transactions, Mr. Bojmel has been recognized repeatedly by the industry’s leading organization, the Turnaround Management Association and the Turnaround Atlas Awards.


Jack Bradley

Jack is an accomplished, strategic business partner and pragmatic, energetic leader with over 30 years of transaction expertise in various industries. He has successfully initiated and negotiated complex transactions, including debt restructurings and acquisitions. In addition, Jack is proficient in analyzing complex transaction structures and identifying essential credit and risk issues, emphasizing distressed companies. He couples superior analytical abilities and a creative mind with diverse industry experience and intuition to provide valuable insights and actionable ideas.

What Jack enjoys about his career... A restructuring expert is dropped into the middle of a dynamic situation with an unclear set of facts. The parties need direction and leadership. The most rewarding aspects of my role are the ability to quickly ascertain the critical facts needed and to develop and implement the corrective actions.


Bruce Buchanan

Bruce has over 25 years of restructuring and corporate finance advisory experience, assisting companies and private equity sponsors in evaluating strategic alternatives and advising on complex debt restructurings in both a public and private company context. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, he was Head of Debt Capital Advisory at PwC and Head of Restructuring and Strategic Finance at Morgan Stanley and GE Capital. Mr. Buchanan is a Certified Public Accountant, holds an MBA in Finance from New York University, and the FINRA Series 24 (Principal) securities license. He is a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor, member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a frequent speaker at various conferences, including Debtwire, iGlobal, PLI, TMA and VALCON. He was awarded the 2017 Gold Medal from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and was listed among “People to Watch” by Turnarounds and Workouts.
